Diversity is such that all people have a slightly different background, and so it becomes nearly impossible to compare people according to some set standard of "meritocracy." Even amongst a single socio-economic background, there will always be families where education is held above all and others where earning for the family far outweighs interest and academia.<br /><br />That said, I do not think that any education system could ever completely address this issue. Not just because it is ideologically impossible, but because no system can include everyone, especially since people's attitudes towards education are influenced by factors that are impossible to control, such as family and neighborhood. :/jrscheunghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06929480455617709423noreply@blogger.com
